DEFICIENCY Notices
DEFICIENCY Notices are mailed on FRIDAY, November 13, 2009
If the student receives a deficiency notice in my math class (Grades C, D & F) then they
- have incomplete or missed assignments or,
- low test grades
If they need extra help they may arrange to see me after school. If considerable effort is put into getting the missed assignments completed, they need to see me out of class to have it graded.
Grade Reports for the First Quarter
Grade Reports for the First Quarter go home with the students tomorrow Friday, October 16.
Thank You!
Thanks to all the parents who visited our Math Classroom for Open House.
Please remind students to fix mistakes on last week's assignments for full credit. This is important for their own learning.
Please contact me by email and we can meet to address any concerns that you may have.
Progress reports are mailed during the week of Sep 7th.
Thanks.

Vocabulary
I suggest that you look up the definitions, figures, symbols in your textbook, google it on the web or use the links in the Section Links on this page.
You may either write it out in your class work book or type it up into a file on your computer and print it out. You may leave place for figures and symbols and do them by hand.
Try as many words as you can. We will complete it as we learn in class.
For Geometry, lookup Chapter 6 in the Honors text book (Structure & Method) and Chapter 8 in the Math7 text book (Concepts & Skills).
